Laureate Volunteers

Laureate volunteers serve in a variety of programs, including activities therapy, admissions, adult inpatient services, chemical dependency, eating disorders, human resources, marketing, research, and tutoring in the Overall School. Special tasks may require skills of a unique volunteer. You may even have a unique talent which would result in a new volunteer position at Laureate! Every effort is made to match the time and talents of a volunteer to the needs of patients, families, and staff. Volunteers also raise money for projects and donations to Laureate throughout the year.

Laureate Volunteers are chosen for their varied talents and interests and strong sense of compassion and sharing. They are beneficiaries of a strong mental-health education program, so that they might learn while they serve. All volunteers receive orientation and on-the-job training by an experienced volunteer or staff member. The Laureate Volunteers are dedicated to implementing the mission and vision statements of the hospital through compassion, caring, and community involvement.
